yesterday i bought my first suit. it's black and pinstriped. it's officially for my wedding, but it's now going to be my go-to-suit for anything else i need a suit for. i hope that doesn't diminish its special-ness for the big day...

and yesterday, with the culmination of all that collective bargaining, i was walking around so excited about the fact that hockey will be back. i felt like everyone was bristling with the same sort of anticipation that i was. yeah. not so much.
